THE ZALMAN M. SCAHCHTER-SHALOMI COLLECTION at the University of Colorado Archives is comprised of personal papers, manuscripts, publications, as well as a wealth of audio and visual materials. Important subjects and categories within the collection include: Jewish Renewal and Jewish Spiritual Practice, Hasidism and Kabbalah, Deep Ecumenism and Psychology of Religion, Spiritual Ecology and Spiritual Eldering, and Schachter-Shalomi’s unique theory of Paradigm Shift. This collection will be the hub of the larger Jewish Renewal Collection, as well as the still larger Post-Holocaust American Judaism Collection at the University of Colorado.
“RABBI ZALMAN SCHACHTER-SHALOMI AND THE ORIGINS OF POST-HOLOCAUST AMERICAN JUDAISM”. In the Fall of 2013, the University of Colorado opened a special exhibit in Norlin Library on the life and legacy of Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, featuring 26 large posters and two exhibit cases. The exhibit will be in place through the Fall of 2014, though the posters may by viewed on-line using this link.
